About the role

As a local maintenance engineer, you are the bridge between technology and strategy. You act as a technical support to the maintenance organization and work closely with both managers and technicians to ensure that our equipment operates optimally – today and tomorrow. Your main responsibilities

You have a broad responsibility that spans several important areas:

• Optimization & Planning: You develop maintenance plans for maximum availability and prepare decision-making materials for investments, including operational safety assessments and root cause analyses.
• Projects & New Acquisitions: You drive local machine acquisitions and ensure that new equipment is integrated smartly and maintainably into the operations.
• Analysis & Investigation: You produce relevant key figures, conduct national inventories, and lead technical investigations.
• Knowledge Dissemination: You coordinate and conduct training for technicians and specialists when introducing new technology or new processes.

Who are you?

We are looking for a natural initiator with good analytical skills and a curious mind. You thrive in working independently and maintain structure even when the pace changes. Since the role involves many points of contact – from operators to external suppliers – we are looking for someone who is communicative and sees the value in collaboration.

To succeed as a maintenance engineer, you need to have:

• A technical university degree or equivalent work experience that we assess as comparable.
• Understanding of legal requirements in maintenance, risk assessments, and spare parts strategies.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English as well as a driver's license.
